Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced exclusively from the Gist Ranch Vineyard, nestled in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. 17 miles from the ocean and at a dizzying elevation of 2300 feet, the vineyard boasts high density vines planted in 2000 on fractured Vacqueros Sandstone soils and farmed by organic principles, including dry farming in some blocks even in drought years. 2016 started with a warm January breaking up the cool
